Happy Friday!! I hope you had a great week and are ready for a fun or relaxing weekend! Calling all of my beautiful brides! This Friday Favorites post is just for you! I know it can get really stressful with all the planning for your big day, but your special events leading up to your wedding day don’t have to be. That’s where I come in! I wanted to share my favorite white dresses for engagement photos, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. And of course share another favorite boutique with you all! So, let’s get started with dresses for engagement photos. Below are a few of the styles I am loving right now for the perfect engagement shoot.
I love a great maxi dress, which we all know by now! The boho chic look for beautiful outdoorsy/beachy engagement photos are to die for. As I always say, a maxi dress is so easy to dress up or dress down, depending on the look you are going for. The styles above can be found at Vici Collection, Lulu’s, The Mint Julep Boutique and Dainty Hooligan (new boutique for you to check out!). Moving on to favorite bridal shower dresses!
The two things every bride needs in her life are white and lace. I absolutely love any kind of lace! I think lace has such a classic look to it and your bridal shower is such a great time to show this classy and beautiful side to you! There are tons of different lace styles, you just have to find the one that fits you and your style. Swing dresses, shift dresses, fit and flare and scalloped edges are a few other great looks for any bride to wear for a bridal shower. The dresses pictured above can be found at Shop Impressions, The Mint Julep Boutique and Lulu’s. Finally, the rehearsal dinner dresses!!
The type of venue for your rehearsal dinner should help give you an idea of what kind of dress you want to wear. If not, that’s what I am here for! If your having a rehearsal dinner in a very over the top venue, you may want to where a style similar to the first two dresses pictured above. For a restaurant or less over the top venue for your rehearsal dinner, I would opt for any of the other styles pictured above. Off the shoulder is always a win in my book and lace of any kind is just super classy! The styles pictured above can be found at Lulu’s, Vici Collection and Shop Impressions.
Remember this, each look for each event that leads up to your wedding day is like your own fashion show. Your wedding day is the finale and the aisle is your runway, so let’s show off just how beautiful you are!
Enjoy the weekend, loves!
