Labor Day Weekend

Hi ladies! I hope you all had an amazing Labor Day Weekend! Ours was jam packed. Joe and I started out our LDW with the Orioles vs Yankees game on Friday night with Joe’s older brother, Sean. We had amazing seats thanks to friends of my momma! We sat 3rd row back from the visitor’s dugout so anytime there was a right-handed batter, we were on TV! We definitely received lots of texts throughout the game! Saturday we went to Boordy Vineyards and Dejon Vineyards with great friends. Lots of wine, music and tons of laughs for sure! Sunday we had Joe’s family BBQ at his sister, Kelly’s house. It was perfect weather and we had some much needed family time! Monday we finally got some boat time with our boaties (boat friends!) The weather was amazing and we just enjoyed a great day on the boat with everyone! So that sounds like a lot already but I almost left out a few other fun things from our weekend. Joe and I have had projects that we have been wanting to start for some time now and Sunday night I was finally able to complete my project! We have a cute little window seat in our kitchen that needed a seat cushion and I couldn’t find one that I liked anywhere so I decided to make my own. A little trip to Joann Fabrics plus seat cushion foam, fabric and a needle and thread and my project was complete! Check out the finished product, below. The pillow is actually one of our couch pillows, waiting to get some cute smaller ones from Marshalls this week!

Cute, right!? Joe worked on his project Sunday morning before the BBQ and Kona loved it (as you can see in the picture below). For Joe’s birthday last month I bought him boat flags, the black lab flag and the Puerto Rican flag, but he didn’t have a flag pole on the boat yet so he decided to make one! A trip to Home Depot to buy two wooden curtain rods and some bolts and hooks and our beautiful boat flag pole was complete! Check it out, below.

We also bought a new farmhouse style dining room table on Monday, but we had to take it apart to bring it home so once we have it put together, I will post a picture for you all to see. I am in love with it!! Check out a few more pictures from our Labor Day Weekend fun, below!

I hope you all enjoyed this LDW post! Oh, by the way! I love showing support to local businesses, so check out Brightside Boutique, a Baltimore boutique, for some trendy and affordable clothes and accessories! See you all back here on Friday, lovelies.
