Hi loves! I hope you had a fun weekend and the week is going by fast for you! So Friday night was the 90’s party and can I just say how much I love theme parties!? Dressing up/costumes will always be so fun to me. I think Joe has just as much fun as I do! I will give you a little bit of background for those of you who don’t know what the 90’s party was for. A beautiful friend inside and out, Leanne, throws a fundraising event once a year for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults has helped young adults and their loved ones fight cancer through various support resources and programs. We all have been affected by cancer in some way, whether it is/was a family member, friend, friend of a friend, etc., we can all do something to bring awareness and support to our community. Joe and I wanted to support my beautiful friend Leanne for this important cause and who can turn down a 90’s party!? The party was tons of fun. There was of course 90’s music playing, a photobooth, a dance-off, outfit contest, silent auction and my favorite..SLAP KOOZIES! I will be using my slap koozie for years to come! So most of you have already seen the two pictures I posted on social media of Joe and I or should I say, Zack and Kelly from Friday night. My 90’s kids should know who Zack and Kelly are, but in the unfortunate circumstance that you don’t, they are from a show called Saved by the Bell which I was obsessed with! The show was definitely filmed in the late 80’s and the first episode aired in 1989 (the year I was born). It was literally all I watched growing up in the 90’s so when I think 90’s I think of Zack, Kelly, Lisa, Slater, Screech, Jessie and Mr. Bellding, duh! On to my outfit details.. I was literally in love with my romper, pretty sure I would wear it just because! Such a good Etsy purchase. I also wore, what Joe likes to call them, Feds (fake Keds) thanks to Target! Joe wore his favorite Kelly Kapowski tee from 80stees.com, jorts, these obnoxious shoes that we call moon boots haha and a teal fanny pack he bought off of Amazon! Let’s just say he has been wearing the fanny pack a little too much since the party. The 90’s were full of so many trends, the grunge look, all denim outfits, gelly sandals (ladies you know what I mean!), the side pony, scrunchies and it just goes on and on! I decided not to do my typical outfit post today as the 90’s party and our outfits deserve their own post, so check out some of the pictures from our Friday night fun for a great cause!
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and I will see you back here for some Friday Favorites that you won’t want to miss!
