Fashion, Friends and Fish

Happy hump day!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Joe and I went out on the boat Saturday and as many of you who follow me on social media have seen, I caught a fish! It’s the biggest fish caught on our boat so far, go me! I still cannot get over how gross it feels to hold a fish by it’s lip so I made Joe hold it for the picture. For those of you who didn’t get to see, here it is below! IMG_9608 (1)

I also caught a cat fish but we didn’t get a picture of that guy. Later, we met up with some friends at Hart Miller Island and hung out in the water for the rest of the day. We all went to a restaurant called Long Beach for a late dinner and I soon found out that some of the guys follow my blog too! Haha thanks for following, guys! Sunday we went out on the boat for a few hours in the morning and we fished a little more. Kona was with us and she was loving the fish! She wanted to give them all kisses. I wish I would have taken a picture of her giving the fish a kiss it was too funny! We finally were able to try on Kona’s new life jacket and she looked SO cute in it. She definitely stayed in the water a lot longer than before because she didn’t get as tired with the life jacket on. But she is still an absolute nut because she wants to be on the boat and in the water constantly so it’s up down up down and she just loves to jump in the water right on top of you! See the cute picture of Kona in her life jacket below and a picture with her momma of course.

After a nice morning on the boat we went to celebrate my beautiful friend Gail and her fiancé Vince at their “I do BBQ”. Gail’s maid of honor hosted the party at her home and she did such an amazing job. Everything was beautiful and so thought out. I wish I had taken some pictures of my own to show you all, but I have realized that I am terrible at taking pictures. I talk WAY too much! We had a great time with the beautiful couple and some of my other girl friends and met some other really sweet people. All in all, it was another great weekend in the books!

Okay so finally I am getting to todays outfit! We wont even talk about the fact that it’s another romper LOL. But let’s talk about the olive color that I love so much, looks especially great with a little bit of a tan! And the high neck with lace all over just absolutely makes this romper, ugh love!! I paired this romper with tan, thick strappy wedges. Tan and olive or taupe and olive are a match made in heaven!

I hope you all have great rest of the week and I will see you back here to share my favorites with you on Friday!
